Video Verification Security

In what is believed to be the first ever trans Atlantic agreement for Alarm Receiving Services, Goldeneye UK Ltd, the UK’s IP remote monitoring specialists, have announced an agreement with Video Verification Security of Florida to remotely monitor up to 200 Mobotix IP surveillance systems at sites throughout the USA, from their IP based BS5979 Alarm Receiving Centre in the UK.

Paul Driver, Managing Director of Goldeneye UK comments:- “The agreement with VVS follows extensive testing of our remote monitoring systems at the VVS sites in the USA, which produced excellent results. Following event activations, the Mobotix IP Camera video streams were being delivered to our Alarm Receiving Centre at the same rapid rate as sites being monitored in the UK.

We are already monitoring Mobotix IP camera system in the UK and Europe, but the rapid growth of IP security solutions in the less regulated US security market and our ability to monitor such systems, opens up the USA and other new international markets to us, with the time differences enabling us to make fuller use of our Alarm Receiving Centre during the day when the UK market quietens down”.

Remote monitoring symbol“We were struggling to find a US provider of remote monitoring services for our IP based surveillance systems so we contacted Goldeneye to see what they could do. Goldeneye proved to us that they could deliver the same high service levels that they were delivering to their UK clients, to our clients here in the USA. With low cost, reliable, international communications now readily available, the agreement also made economic sense.”
Jeff Hager, Managing Director of Video Verification Security

Paul continues: ”Companies are waking up to the fact that IP technology enables them to centralise the management, control and monitoring of their security systems across the world. This results in huge cost and operational benefits and improves the protection and security of their people, assets and mission critical processes. Goldeneye’s end to end service for IP security solutions which includes concept, design, implementation, then on through to our remote monitoring and alarm response services, is proving extremely popular”.

Offices“The VVS agreement is a clear example of how IP technology can create effective security solutions on an international scale. It also illustrates that IP is the ideal technology for major international companies and organisations, for use in creating effective enterprise wide security solutions. Goldeneye UK are currently engaged with a number of UK PLC’s doing exactly that.”
Paul Driver, Managing Director, Goldeneye UK
